Plans & access
Plans built around the modules your team uses
Three plans tied to real features. Start with the essentials, add modules as your team grows — then request access to a provisioned workspace.
OpenHR is accepting private-beta teams.
Plan prices and terms are confirmed during onboarding. Public checkout remains disabled until tenant provisioning is fully automatic and recoverable.

What every plan ships with
The platform-grade fundamentals, included in Starter.
Multi-tenant by design
Every record is company-scoped — data access is filtered by company ID at the query layer.
Granular RBAC
30+ permissions controlling who can see and change what.
Audit-logged changes
Sensitive employee changes are recorded with actor, before, after.
Self-serve for employees
Every employee gets a calm, role-scoped portal — no admin bottleneck.

What OpenHR doesn't do (yet)
We'd rather flag the gaps up front than let you discover them three weeks into a trial.
Native applicant tracking (ATS)
Recruiting workflows and candidate pipelines aren't part of OpenHR today. If you need an ATS, pair OpenHR with a dedicated one.
Native learning management (LMS)
Course delivery and certification tracking aren't built in. We focus on the HR system of record, not training delivery.
Statutory tax filing automation
Payroll runs and reports — yes. Filing taxes with your local authority — no, that remains a manual or partner-handled step.
Formal compliance certifications
We engineered the security controls (multi-tenant, RBAC, AES-256 at rest, audit log) but the formal SOC 2 / ISO 27001 attestations are in progress, not yet awarded.

FAQ
Pricing questions
How is pricing confirmed?
OpenHR is currently in private beta. Choose the module set that fits your team and request access; the team will confirm deployment requirements and commercial terms before any payment.
Why isn't self-service checkout available?
A successful payment must reliably create the company tenant, first administrator, and onboarding state. That provisioning flow is still being completed, so we do not accept public payment before a workspace can be fulfilled.
Can I change modules later?
The application supports module-based entitlements. Any plan or billing changes are confirmed with the OpenHR team during private beta so the effective date and data impact are clear.
What support is included?
The intended support level is listed on each plan. Response targets and support channels are confirmed in writing during onboarding; this page does not promise an unagreed service level.
Can I export my data?
Payroll runs and selected reports can be exported from the dashboard today. Confirm any broader export or migration requirement during onboarding so scope and delivery format are documented.
What privacy and security controls exist?
The product includes role-based permissions, tenant-scoped data access, audit logging, and encrypted transport. Legal terms, data-processing terms, hosting region, retention, and any compliance requirements must be agreed before production personal data is imported.
Can OpenHR be self-hosted?
The codebase supports a self-hosted deployment. Infrastructure ownership, upgrades, backups, email, object storage, and operational support must be agreed for each deployment.
Not sure which plan fits?
Growth covers the four modules most teams evaluate first. Tell us what you need and we'll confirm the right module set before provisioning.
